Vinyl Safety Flooring for Glan Clwyd Hospital
It was an honour for Oakwill to fit cap & cove vinyl flooring in the X-Ray department, at NHS - Glan Clwyd Hospital, Denbighshire, North Wales. We also fitted corridors, toilets & changing rooms as part of their ongoing work at the hard working hospital.
The Fluoroscopy Room
We first had to prepare this large area of floor in the hospital by applying a latex smoothing compound screed. Once we ensured we had a smooth subfloor to work with, our skilled team fitted a couple of different Polyflor vinyl’s, one being this blue one from Polyflor’s Palettone PUR range, in the colour “Superior Sky” installed with cap & cove system, for a safe & easy to clean finish.
Corridors, Toilets & Changing Rooms
Cap and cove vinyl flooring was also fitted to the corridors, toilets & changing rooms. Vinyl flooring is very hard wearing and easy to clean perfect for a busy hospital!
