Benefits of Luxury Vinyl Tiles

  • Wear & tear resistant

LVT flooring is known for its exceptional durability and resistance to wear and tear, making it a popular choice for both households and commercial spaces. It is waterproof and has a built-in scratch and stain guard, making it more robust and less likely to dent or scratch than wooden or tiled floors.

  • Beautiful designs

LVT flooring offers endless possibilities for creating a stylish and authentic look in any room. The designs are of high quality and provide a realistic appearance, replicating the natural look of wood or tiles. With a vast range of designs to choose from and new designs continuously being added to the range, LVT flooring is sure to compliment any taste.

  • Easy maintenance

LVT flooring requires minimal care and is easy to clean, making it an excellent choice for those seeking a low-maintenance flooring option. A simple sweep or mop will remove dust, dirt, and stains, and it is also hygienic, making it ideal for those with allergies.

The collection features four tile patterns - Clifton, Lansdown, Mayfair, and Montpellier - each available in classic monochrome or traditional neo-classical colour combinations. Recreating the elegance of period interiors is made simple with this collection.

Luxury Vinyl Tiles - FAQ’s

What is LVT made from?

LVT is made from PVC (polyvinyl chloride resins), a versatile plastic that can mimic the appearance of other flooring types, such as genuine tile or wood, while retaining the practical features of plastic.

Can LVT get damaged?

LVT is damage-resistant due to its hard and scratch-proof surface and durability to weight and foot traffic. It is also stain-resistant and cannot be ripped or pierced. However, it can still be dented under significant pressure. If damaged, a solo piece can be removed and refitted, avoiding the need to replace the whole floor.

Can I use LVT anywhere?

LVT can be used in many areas of the home, but it is not recommended for use on stairs or outside. LVT is not designed for outside use, and sunlight, temperature changes, wind, and debris can cause irreversible damage. LVT can also be slippery on stairs, but a stair runner can provide grip.

What styles of LVT are on the market?

There are several styles of LVT available, including herringbone, parquet, wooden, stone/concrete, tiled, and other types such as marble, mosaic, patterned, and stone.

What should I look for when choosing LVT?

Pay attention to the wear layer thickness, which ranges from 0.3 mm to 0.7 mm. The thicker the wear layer, the better the overall quality and the longer the flooring will last. Look for the manufacturer's recommendations for the wear layer.

How long will LVT last?

If high-quality, thick luxury vinyl flooring is purchased, installed correctly, and well-maintained, it can last around 30 years.
