Commercial Flooring for Henllan Bakery

The Oakwill team completed a fantastic flooring project for Henllan Bakery in Denbigh. Henllan Bakery are a premier bakery located in North Wales, having opened their first bakery back in 1908. With continued expansion the bakery now employs 73 people and operate 18 delivery vans, distributing delicious bread and treats throughout North and Mid Wales, Shropshire borders and the Wirral.

Oakwill were thrilled to be awarded the project by Pen y Bryn Joinery- a Denbighshire based highly skilled building and fit out company. Oakwill were tasked with installing 320 m2 of flooring to Henllan’s main staff canteen, offices, toilets, changing rooms and storage rooms.

Our initial step was to prepare the sub floor by applying feather finish to the timber mezzanine floors. Once all the floors were perfectly smooth, we began the installation of the vinyl and carpet tile flooring.

We fitted a hardwearing and contemporary looking Polysafe Wood FX vinyl in ‘Silver Oak’ to the canteen area. The flooring was a perfect match for the fresh and colourful decor.

For the ladies and gents toilets, changing rooms and storage rooms we installed Polysafe Verona PUR vinyl flooring in ‘Rocksalt’. Again, hard hardwearing and easy to clean whilst giving a modern and fresh look. All vinyl areas were welded and fitted with a Quantum charcoal grey set in skirting.

Bostik STIXA600 and Fball F60 Contact adhesives were utilised for this project.

Finally, we fitted Europa loop carpet tiles to the meeting room, which once again complemented the decor perfectly!
